Born in Santa Cruz, California, Beverly Garland studied dramatics under Anita Arliss, the sister of renowned stage and screen star George Arliss. She acted in a little theater in Glendale then in Phoenix after her family relocated to Arizona. Garland also worked in radio and appeared scantily-clad in a few risqué shorts before making her feature film debut in a supporting part in D.O.A. (1949). Her husbands include actor Richard Garland, and land developer Fillmore Crank, who built 2 hotels which bear her name. Ms. Garland's longest runs were on Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983) and My Three Sons (1960). Later on she guest-starred on a number of TV shows, including The Guardian (2001), on CBS, and Weakest Link (2001), on NBC, and maintained her continuing roles on 7th Heaven (1996), on the WB (now the CW), and Port Charles (1997), on ABC, which began in the 1990s.
In 1983, Ms. Garland received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2001, in recognition of her 50 years in show business, the Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters inducted her into its Hall of Fame. Ms. Garland has two very significant historical television "firsts": she was television's first policewoman as the star of Decoy (1957), and, more importantly, the series gave her the honor of becoming the first actress to star in a television dramatic series. After her husband of 39 years died in 1999, Beverly continued to operate the 255-room Beverly Garland Holiday Inn in North Hollywood (with the assistance of three of her four children). In the New York Times, Elisabeth Vincentelli wrote: "Give this girl a vehicle already! Zoë Winters shined as an efficient sports therapist in "Red Speedo," a peppily manipulative religious leader in "The Harvest" and a hot mess grouchily attending a silent retreat in "Small Mouth Sounds." While this team player strives in ensembles, her droll humor and Swiss-quality timing make her ready for a lead."

Elissa Knight was born on 15 April 1975 in Santa Cruz, California, USA. She is an actress and editor, known for WALL·E (2008), Cars (2006) and Inside Out (2015).- Tall, built, handsome and striking, but as graceful as a man his size can possibly be, Sascha Radetsky has had a traditional dance history up until the new millennium. Radetsky is not only a skilled and gifted dancer, but also a heart-throb and sex symbol in his own right.
Born in Santa Cruz, California, Radetsky began his ballet studies in the San Francisco Bay Area with Damara Bennett and Ayako Takahashi. Like a lot of other male dancers, Sascha got started in ballet when his older sister took classes and Sascha would have to sit and watch. He was blown away by the men in the class taking those big long leaps and jumps and decided to join the class.
By 15, he was invited to Moscow's Bolshoi Academy underneath the renowned male teacher Pyotr Pestov.
After a year in Russia, he studied on scholarship at the Kirov Academy in Washington, D. C. under Rudolph Kharatian and Andrei Garbouz. He toured with the Kirov Ballet throughout the United States and internationally.
He also studied on scholarship at the summer programs of the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre's School of Classical Ballet with Mikhail Baryshnikov, the San Francisco Ballet School and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Vail, Colorado.
Radetsky joined the ABT as an apprentice in 1995 and moved up to the corps in 1996.
But his real break came in 2000 when he starred as Charlie, a dance student and loved interest in the movie "Center Stage." He reprised his role in pop singer Mandy Moore's music video "I Wanna Be With You" from the Center Stage soundtrack.
And as for his dancing career, Radetsky became a soloist in 2003. - Actor

Acting came to Stephen Quadros almost by default. He originally moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a drummer, where he achieved local success and radio airplay in Los Angeles with the band SNOW, which featured Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot, Ratt) on guitar. Stephen was even flown to New York to audition for the group KISS.
But when repetitive hand injuries aborted his percussive pursuits, Quadros dove into acting, studying with a variety of respected teachers, including: John Ruskin, Cameron Watson, William Alderson, Stella Adler, Arthur Mendoza, Scott Bernstein, Michelle Danner and Mark Haining.
As an actor Quadros has starred, guest-starred or co-starred in over 100 films and television shows, working with such Hollywood luminaries as Bryan Cranston, Kathryn Bigelow, Miles Teller, Nicolas Winding Refn, John Hawkes, Cuba Gooding Jr., Peter Falk, David Caruso, Blair Underwood, Traci Lords and Angela Lansbury.
Stephen Quadros is also a martial arts expert, specializing in kickboxing and mixed martial arts (MMA), areas where he has been a practitioner, teacher and trainer for over 20 years.
Because of his combined talents, Stephen appeared in and served as fight technical advisor for "Cradle 2 the Grave (2003)", starring Jet Li, Mark Dacascos and DMX ("Cradle 2 The Grave" hit the theaters in February 2003 and went to #1). Additionally he choreographed one of the fight sequences in "Cradle".
Mister Quadros was also fight coordinator/choreographer and 2nd unit director for "Pit Fighter" (20th Century Fox) which was released in 2005. He was also fight technical advisor for "Exit Wounds" (2001) starring Steven Seagal, Michael Jai White and DMX, co-starred in "Sworn To Justice" with Black Belt hall of fame member Cynthia Rothrock and was the guest lead on a season premiere of the popular TV series "Walker, Texas Ranger", squaring off opposite martial arts icon Chuck Norris.
He was also one of the world's leading martial arts and combat sports journalists. In 1998 he became a columnist and contributing editor for Black Belt magazine, a position he held for over 3 years, where his monthly column, which he titled "FightSport", garnered him international attention. Black Belt felt strong enough about "Fightsport" (and Stephen) that they named an entire magazine after it and empowered him as editor. "Black Belt Presents: Fightsport, with Stephen Quadros" made it's debut nationally in February 2002. (Quadros participated in the first year of the publication to get the magazine launched and established, then exited to concentrate on film, television and sports broadcasting.)
Stephen Quadros is well known in martial arts circles around the globe for his role as host and/or television commentator for some of the largest and most successful fight shows in the world including Showtime Network's mixed martial art series: Strikeforce, as well as Pride Fighting Championships (pay per view), Glory Kickboxing (ESPN, CBS Sports). Mr. Quadros was given his nickname "The Fight Professor" while commentating on a show in Japan for K-1 in 1998.- Actress

At age 6, my family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I became very active at my new school and started playing soccer. After 8 years in Atlanta, my family moved to San Clemente, California. At 17 years old, I was taking on camera acting classes and getting familiar with being in front of the camera. After graduating from San Clemente High School, I moved to Seattle to pursue a degree in exercise science at Seattle Pacific University. Shortly after starting college, I decided that I wanted to be in the creative industry where I could express myself fully so I moved back to Southern California and got my certification as a full time makeup artist. After working on multiple sets, I was asked if I wanted to become a model. I was offered a contract to model full time in Los Angeles and my modeling journey began! I am constantly being inspired by the supermodels of the 80s and 90s and have a love for fashion, hair, and makeup. I have also found a love for writing and playing music in my time working in LA. He is an actor and producer, known for The Artist (2011), Cold Case (2003) and Castle (2009).- A high back lift above the head, exquisite footwork, razor sharp eyesight and sudden swing of the bat 180°. The result ? The ball raced to the boundary or even cleared it before the fielders could move from their positions. No cricketer since Sir Don Bradman has had the appetite of massive runs, irrespective of how difficult the pitch or how formidable the bowling attack, as much as Brian Charles Lara. Born to Pearl and Bunty Lara, Brian from his school days aspired to play league football in England and represent his native Trinidad and Tobago on the global stage, something his classmate and best friend Dwight Yorke accomplished later as their sporting careers ran in parallel.
Making his debut against Pakistan in 1989-90, initial years were mediocre when compared to his visibly incredible prodigious talent. The wait bore fruit against Australia at Sydney in 1992 when in just his fifth test, Lara hit 277 and set the benchmark for the rest of his career. And barely an year later, Lara bought the world on its feat scoring 375 against England at Antigua, beating the previous record of 365 in 1958 scored by another West Indies legend Sir Garfield Sobers. Signed by Warwickshire in English County Cricket, Lara bought another landmark to his name hitting an unbeaten 501 against Durham in 1995, making him by far the biggest superstar on the global cricketing horizon.
But with the fame and continued individual success also came the decline of West Indies' supremacy as the best team in the world. Year after year, the West Indies lost test after test, series after series. Saddled with the captaincy of a squad in literal disarray, Lara's first overseas bout as a leader was an epic disaster as the West Indies was whitewashed by South Africa 5-0. Rubbing salt on the wound was his recurring eye infection and shoulder problem, restricting his signature wide variety of shots and thereby the huge scores he was known for. But world knew Lara was born out of a different mould altogether and would strike back to form when a difficult opportunity arose. In the subsequent home series against an Australian team which was soon to become one of greatest in cricket history, Lara alone carried his men on his shoulders, hitting 213, 153 and 100 in consecutive tests with the first 2 knocks being the sole reason West Indies drawing the series 2-2.
Yet again hitting a lean patch at the start of the 21st century, Lara soon found his touch in Sri Lanka against the world's top ranked bowler Muttiah Muralitharan, scoring 688 runs with 3 tons but these were yet again insufficient as West Indies were humiliated 3-0. Having reclaimed his self-confidence, Lara set about reclaiming his desired and deserved batting records as well, starting with the highest individual score of 400* in 2004, yet again against England, yet again at Antigua after Australian Matthew Hayden had scored 380 against Zimbabwe the same year, followed by the tally of highest runs scored in test cricket in 2005-06, surpassing another Australian Allan Border's decade standing accomplishment of 11174 runs, ironically against Australia in Australia in the midst of a brilliant innings of 226 at Adelaide.
The 2007 World Cup could have very well been Lara's swansong, but despite a promising start West Indies went from defeat to defeat and by the end of the second stage were knocked out of the tournament. Lara's farewell international match against England too went awry as a horrible mix up resulted in a run out and another loss for the West Indies.
Some would remember Brian Lara as a controversial figure whose illustrious presence coincided with the downfall of the West Indies cricket team. Most would remember him as the ultimate batting genius against whom, not even the greatest bowlers had answers. - Producer
